This year's festival will include many of the same great activities our attendees have enjoyed in the past: a band contest, children's activities (kids are admitted FREE again this year!) , contra dance events, and workshops. Camping (with a great jamming scene) is available, too. If you prefer hotel accomodations, you'll find lodging nearby.
PIP in the Media
You can now see more than 60 videos taken live at Pickin' in the Pines on the Pickin' in the Pines channel on Youtube. Del McCoury, Nashville Bluegrass Band, Steve Smith & Hard Road, Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike, Eric Lambert jamming with NBB players backstage, and lots more.

Volunteer Dwayne Conn has created a podcast that gives an overview of the festival, and highlights the history and the music of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Give a listen!
